Lara Vai launched m a r t i n o in 2021 after extensive experiences in the fashion industry as designer, creative director and illustrator. She has an holistic approach to design through the comprehension and appreciation of various fields such as art, film, architecture and artisanal craftsmanship.

Lara was born in Italy and relocated to New York in 2001.

She worked for brands such as Dolce&Gabbana, Prada, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Theory before working independently as a creative consultant.

Lara currently lives in New York with her dog Cleo.
